A lot of people don't realize that if you don't REALLY want to change, you won't. They forget that you need to stay motivated and determined to make it happen. It's great that you've decided the time is finally right to make a change.
I had RnY 5 years ago and it was the best decision I think I have ever made. There is so much to know and be aware of before and after the surgery, and it can be daunting even when you've been prepared for it. You're probably in contact with other bypass patients for support and information, but if you ever have questions I am absolutely willing to help. I sort of went through my process alone, and looking back I know I would have been a lot less nervous had I had someone to talk to about it all.
Good luck with the rest of your pre-op prep and I look forward to seeing your progress. :) Remember, take your pills.
