LOL! Mary, I read "re-intro" as retro, which made me think that retro had something to do with recycling...which makes me think that coming back to the site after you've been gone a while is sort of like recycling. That is just what I did, too. I "recycled" and came back to SparkPeople after a very long absence. And like you, I think I finally have my head in the right place.....so

Hi, I'm Mary! I've been on this team for quite awhile, but haven't logged into Sparkpeople since last year! Anyway, I am 30 and live in Ankeny, Iowa. I guess I've always been a weight loss/dieting rollercoaster, but this time I'm really going to follow through and make this lifestyle change. I've always wanted to be fit and in shape, and from past experience, I've discovered I have a lot more energy when I eat more fruits & veggies and get away from junk food and sugar and processed foods. So that is definitely part of my plan, as well as working out at the gym at least 3 times a week. I'm also joining a beginner running group and my hubby and I are going to start bike-riding. Look forward to chatting with everyone here!
