Hi. This team is usually pretty dormant, but I lilke keeping it here because it is good to find local people. Anyway, I read your post. I am not consistent recently at all. I did really well a few years ago, and in the last year or so, I have gained back part of my weight. I just don't seem to be following through.

For me, lower carb is also a good idea. I changed my nutrition goals in Spark People to have more protein and lower carb.

I'm 57 years old, 5'5" and weigh about 194. I started out at about 220, and I got down around 180 for a long time, and then it started inching back up. I am really mad at myself!

I've tried to eat a regular diet. I've tried spin class 7 days a week for 4 months. I switched to running only to find I can only jog/walk and without an assigned class time, I'm not consistant.

I hope that the more I reach out, the easier it will be to find the support I clearly need to make things work again.

I'm 45 years old, 5'8", and weigh 224 lbs. Goal is 170. Low carb diet seems to work best, running/jogging also has had past results. Maybe a message board is what will bring it all together.
