He's pretty good about cooking decent for me...of course he has a high metabolism so energy to burn and no need to lose any weight. As long as I have veggies every night then I'm happy.

Get settled and we will all meet up eventually...we aren't going anywhere and look forward to meeting you too!

We are from Southern Indiana.

How hard it must be to lose weight with such a good cook. I am grateful to not have that obstacle. lol

Looking forward to meeting some of you if I can work it into my schedule. Still trying to settle in and lots of details to take care of.

I lived in South Bend/Mishawaka area in the 90's. I left in '99 to join the Navy, and decided I'd rather go south then back up north.

I'm sorry I can't help you much on restaurants, but I'm sure others on here will be able to. I don't eat out; my husband is an awesome cook so we stay home.

Thanks Jenn. Might I ask what part of Indiana you used to live in?

Might there be a thread with suggestions for good places to eat low carb and low cost? My husband is a big eater and I am not so a good buffet, lower cost to account for the fact that I will eat little, would be the perfect solution if it were not too far away. Golden Corral is a bit far to drive back and forth. We live off Gulf to Bay near the airport.

Hello, we just moved here a few months ago from Indiana and are loving it. Found a TOPS club down in Largo and am ready to get back on track. With the move and big change in lifestyle I have gotten off balance.

I have lost over 100#'s in the past few years and it is a daily struggle. I have about 60#'s more to go to reach my goal.

I am 63 years old, married and looking forward to meeting new friends and helping others as well as being helped.
