Welcome tedebear 64! Sounds to me like you are off to a great start with your workout schedule. It takes time to renew your body and your mind so don't be too hard on yourself. Do some fun and healthy things for yourself for each of your accomplishments. Your WORTH it. Keep at it. You will be greatly rewarded for your efforts. The weight will come off and you will be fit!

Hi My name is Laurie. I am a 46 yr old, single Mom of a 12 yr old daughter. I am an emotional eater and a comfort eater. None of which truly makes me happy inside. It's all lies. I have been doing Sparkpeople.com since March 24, 2011. I have been an overeater for awhile and I find that keeping track of the food I eat is a great tool for me. I can't lie to myself about the quantity of food for the day. I have been exercising too and tracking that. I have to stay away from sugar too. I can go nuts on it. I like the clear head I have when I am sober in food and praying to God. I know I can't do this myself. I am new to this Spark Team stuff. I have been going to a gym for 3 weeks now (4 times a week) and I have actually gained weight (2 pounds), that really makes me mad. I have been eating less, except for easter candy last week, which is gone now. So I am back on track. I have lost some inches in the chest, waist and hips. I know that I did not get fat overnight, nor will I get smaller overnight, but I really want to see fast results. Thanks for listening. I really need to truly rely on God for strength, but I do need Jesus with skin on people too. I do weight over 200 pounds and I know the guy in the gym says muscle weights more, but I don't want to be over 200 pounds. I hate that number.

I really need all the help I can get.

Let's Shake things up Cape Coral Sparkers!
I've already posted this as an announcement but I honestly don't know if everybody sees those. I am still fairly new to SparkPeople myself. I've been a part of this team since I began in January and now I am the newest Co-Leader here on the Cape. I wanna shake things up a bit by getting more activity on this page and in our lives. The last thing I am is a tech geek so if anybody wants to co-lead also let me know. This person would help with welcomes and challenges too. What I am good at is motivating people to be the best they've ever been. We can be a happy and healthy community. Let's support one another. I'm learning the tech stuff in the team leaders beginners class and in the mean time I will be posting and encouraging y'all to get out and move your body and love your life. You're Totally WORTH it!
