Hey Everyone! My name is Rae and I am currently a college student. During my freshmen year (I'm currently a senior) a friend of mine pushed me to go running with him and I reluctantly went. I am so glad that I decided to go with him. Ever since that day I have become addicted to running. I did my first 5 mile race and 10k last year and now I will be doing my first half marathon with my sister and my mom in Madison.
I am getting very excited but also nervous for my first HM. If anyone has any advice I would absolutely love to hear it. I am really interested in hearing more about how you train for your races and runs, what clothing or equipment you use to help your runs, and what music gets you going.
I would love to hear from all of you. I need more runner friends to help me stay motivated and to talk about running because not many of my friends love running as much as I do.
