Hi my name is Sue and I have belonged to SP for 1 year. I have reached my goal weight I lost 25 pounds in the last year and I can tell you it was not easy. I am trying to maintain but its harder then what I thought. I really started to watch and weigh my food so far so good, I have maintained for three months but now the holidays are coming and I am afraid my old habits will start creeping up again. I guess I will be on SP more then ever. I hope someone has a few suggestions on how to keep my motivation up. Its so easy to slip up when you have the weight off.

A little about myself I live 40 miles southeast of Green Bay about 2miles from Lake Michigan. My hubby is retired and I work a seasonal job at a family owned garden center. We walk between 6 to 7 1/2 miles a day and I love to bake, mostly breads and buns, but my hubby loves cookies so we are careful about how many I make and how often.

Hi all! My name is Tonya. I have been on SP off and on for 4 years now. I moved to GB about 3 years ago for work and still don't know anyone! I live on the East side and workout at Planet Fitness if anyone is interested (lately its been from 5 to 6 in the morning during the week and random times on the weekend)

A little about myself. Always been larger, gained about 80 lbs in college and now struggling with illnesses due to my weight. I am very open and free spirited and just looking for some motivation and a new friend. I got married about a year and a half ago but we work opposite shifts so I don't see him much. No kids and no pets. I sit on my tush all day at work then come home to an empty apartment and sit some more.

Hello, my name is Ashlee. I'm a graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Green Bay. I am getting married this year in September and have just started a new job that I love. I joined spark to better myself and to have more energy, as well as, get my body ready for the dress for the big day! I doing this with my gym membership to Planet Fitness and my workout buddies but I can always use more buddies to workout with, so if you want a buddy, I'm here and I'm committed to weight loss and fitness.

I'M BACK! Hello everyone! I am one of the old leaders of this team. I left back in spring of 2010. If you read my blog from today I can save you all the gory details.

Bottom line is I need to lose weight and I want to do it myself. Meaning, no meetings, or book or people pushing me. I am only successful when I find the motivation in myself. Right now my motivation is that I am 46 and having a hard time breathing! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, born and raised in GB. I left for 10 years and moved back 17 years ago. My family is from here and pretty much built the northwest side of town. My mom grew up in Duck Creek (now known as Howard).

I have been married for 12 years and have 4 children - 16/17/18/21. Two boys and two girls. I work full time and am getting my BA degree through UWGB Adult ed program on-line.

Of course. I want accountability and of course this was the first team I looked up!

Hey gang, I am Erick. I was on here a while back (2009), and LOVED the community and support. We lost our home, and our internet (moved out into the country).

I am married with 8 kids (yes, all from the same amazing woman), and we live a tad bit north of Freedom.

This year, blew out my knee, had surgery, never really got it back to normal, got a new job (outside of my former field of expertise... carpet/floor cleaning and janitorial), joined the gym, and found my way back here.

Looking forward to hearing more from all of you, and seeing less of me. :-)

Hi! My name is Maggie, and I live in Allouez. I had gastric bypass four years ago, and lost 141 pounds. Up until about a year and a half ago, I was losing weight. I've had some medical issues, three surgeries, and have gained about forty of those back. I am on the right track again...with the right attitude, so I am SO GLAD to be here! My faith in Christ is what motivates me the most. I also want to be a good example for my children and husband, so they make the right food choices as well.

I can do all things through God who gives me strength!

I don't know the area at all. My husband and I will walk a small trail at Communiversity Park since we live pretty much next to UWGB. I walked it once alone and got too scared to do it again. People don't understand the fear since they think Green Bay is so safe.

I'm looking at getting a pedometer and trying mall walking. I have a portable exercise bike, but need variety.

Well hello neighbor! I live in Ashwaubenon out by the airport. I know what you mean about walking areas... I know a lot of people walk/ride/rollerblade down by the Fox River off of Washington St, but other than that area I would stay away from. A lot of people also walk the trails out at UWGB, but if I went there I would make sure to have someone else with me. A girl (student) was raped on that trail a couple of years ago. As for me, I either walk in my neighborhood (which is really safe) or I walk the treadmill. Glad to see another Green Bayer on here!!

I just joined Sparkpeople a few days ago. I grew up in a small town in Michigan but moved to Green Bay about 2 1/2 years ago. I like walking outside, but don't know many good, safe places. I prefer wooded trails to streets, but am nervous about walking in a big city. I know people say this is a big city with a small town feel, but trust me, there is still plenty of big city feel too.

We are starting our version of "the Biggest Loser" this week at work. I was a part of the competition two years ago so I am excited to start again, but it's only for 3 months. I am hoping that by joining Sparkpeople I will continue for the long haul.

Hi I just joined Sparkpeople today after a few friends on facebook told me about it. I've known for quite awhile that I needed to lose weight, after giving birth 6 times, the weight kinda stuck with me. I live in Ashwaubenon with my husband and 5 kids, (my 6th child was stillborn in 2000) and last night when my oldest daughter and I went out to dinner at Sammys on Oneida - after eating, I felt my stomach pooch actually touching the table! That's when I knew I had to do something about my weight. A few friends on FB told me about portion control, I know I am an emotional eater, or I eat when I'm bored, so I have a few hurdles to get over, but I'm determined to get down to my 165 like I want. I'm also writing my first manuscript, so I spend a lot of time writing at my desk, so not a lot of working out, but I've decided to take my treadmill back from it's previous job as a drying rack and using it 30 minutes 2 times a day for starters and see how that goes.

Hi! My name is Stacie and I live in Green Bay. I've always lived in Green Bay and I love this city. It's a big city with a small town feel and the people here are great! I decided to join Sparkpeople because I've always struggled with my weight - always thinking I could never do anything about it on my own. Until recently...

Now that I have lost some weight on my own, I decided to get some extra motivation. I really enjoy networking and meeting new people - especially when those people are just like me. Out there busting it every day for the same reasons I am - to feel better, to look better, to be better.

I work out at Planet Fitness East and Energy Fitness & Dance in Ashwaubenon. And now that spring is near, I hope to get out on the trails too. If anyone out there works out at the same places I do and is interested in a workout buddy then let me know! We can help each other out!

Hello everyone! My name is Chris, I live in Allouez and I have recently retired from teaching. I now have the time to work out everyday but can't seem to lose any weight so this site has been wonderful. Hello! My name is Linda. I live in Marinette which is about 56 miles North of Green Bay but I still get down there a lot. I'm 28. I've been married 8 years and have two kids. I'm a cosmetologist and I also teach water aerobics. I'm currently in the process of switching over to just do water fitness. I joined Sparkpeople in April of 2010 which is also when I started running. I ran the Cellcom Half this past May and did another this past weekend. I've made the goal of running a half in every state before I'm 50. Michigan, Illinois and Ohio are set for next year. I am trying to lose weight at the same time, but I've found that by focusing on a fitness goal (training for a half and getting my times down) the weight came off as a side effect and nothing can ever replace the feeling of crossing that finish line. It gets me out the door even when its crappy out--which happens a lot in Wisconsin!

I'm hoping to start a running club in the near future in the Marinette/Menominee/Peshtigo area so if any of you are in my neck of the woods, I'd love to hear from you! Even if you don't run, that's okay. I've actually gotten a few of my friends on the bandwagon. I'd love to help you start too! (I'd even be willing to be virtual motivation)

Hi! I've been a member of this team once before (under a different name), though I didn't post much. At the time I was trying to lose weight for my June 2010 wedding, but I didn't keep up with it.

So now, here I am, a year and a half later and I still haven't lost the weight. However, I think the real difference maker now is that I'm not driving myself crazy trying to plan a wedding at the same time! I'm also making more of a concerted effort to work out and track my calories, which, you know, kind of important. :p Ah well. Better late than never and all that. I'm hoping that by the end of September this year I'll be twenty pounds lighter, but so far the trend hasn't been going that way for me... but I'm trying not to let it get me down.

Good evening!

I'm Hollie and I live in Denmark (my zip code kind of gives it away.) I just joined Sparkpeople a few weeks ago. I also joined Gold's Gym and have been going swimming there.

I'm single and 36. I enjoy watching tv shows like Bones and Big Bang theory as well as sci-fi/fantasy genre shows like Supernatural, Doctor Who and Warehouse 13.

For fun, I read, play with my dogs and travel to other parts of the country to go to sci fi tv show conventions where I meet the actors that star in the shows I like. I also meet a lot of other fans as well.

Great to be here especially after such a great Packers win!

Hi all,
I am a fairly new GB girl, only been here a year. I recently graduated with my doctorate, and am working part time, so I have more than enough time to dedicate to health and fitness, just need to keep up the motivation.
