Hey, everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Lacie and I've lived in Fort Collins for about 8 years. I came to CSU and just didn't want to leave. I now work as a clinical research coordinator where there is lots of free, sugary, fatty, delicious food all around me at all times and where we work 10 hour days. So, my new mantra is, "somewhere out there is someone busier than me, working out," which serves to remind me that my health should come first, no matter how busy I am or what temptations I may face.
I'm turning 27 this weekend, and to celebrate I'm going snowboarding with my friends and brothers. We go every week to ride the mountains: Keystone, Breck, Vail... Technically I'm considered obese, and I know every movement is more difficult for me than all of them, but I'm proud of myself for trying to keep up every time I go.
Well that's my story. My goals are to workout more and eat less, and not be obsessive about weight loss (where I go insane and burn all out).
