Glad you "finally" joined! I have 3 kids, so I understand that it is hard to get that exercise in! I usually work out during my lunch so that I don't miss out on spending time with the family after work. Let us know if you have any questions! Good luck!
and good luck with your goals...I know it is tough, I face the same 5-10 pounds and it is the hardest to loose, or at least it is for me....and for me it is hard to get out and exercise cause , well I just have a really hard time motivating myself ....but being on Spark helps.....it is a great support system if you use it.
I only really understand myself, what I'm really thinking and feelings, when I've talked it over with my circle of female friends. When days go by without that connection, I feel like a radio playing in an empty room.
Hi everyone. I heard about sparkpeople some time ago and thought "I should join". Well, I finally did. Several years ago I lost 45 lbs and then just got stuck, I've been playing with the same 5-10 lbs forever. I need to get unstuck! I enjoy a lot of outdoor activities and I want to be in better shape so I can enjoy them more.
I'm a 39 year old single mother of two, so finding time to workout can be challenging. However being physically active is very important to me. I'm hoping this site will provide some motivation and accountability to keep me on track.
