Greetings to all my fellow Sparkers! I'm pleased to make my 1st entry on the SparkTeam Page. I realize at this point that I don't like talking about myself, but in the effort to help my team get to know me- I am a single mother of 2 sons ages 21 and 14. As a single mom and student, my time was always immersed in my son's athletic activities and/ or school. As time progresses, I have more "me time". In that time, I enjoy physical activities as well as challenges and exploring the vegetarian lifestyle. My workouts vary daily but typically consist of brisk walks in my neighborhood or during my lunch break; 3 mile jogs and cardio and strengthening classes (at the gym [L.A. Fitness/Bellflower or the Spectrum/South Bay).
The lifestyle change that I am adopting is not exclusive to physical health but mental and spiritual health as well; hence the title for my topic: "Happy New Me". I look forward to meeting and communicating with you throughout this journey.
