First-welcome to the team. Like the others have said this is a great place to be for all the help we need and it is free.

SP is a great resource. I am just getting back into my logging and blogging myself, so I could use some support too. Welcome to the group!
Thanks Pastor Clint,
I need all the prayers I can get and I will have you in mine also. It is amazing how Sparkpeople can do all it does for those of us who need to lose weight and do it all for free. So many groups to be able to join and get feedback from, but so glad that there is one for SC. Keep the faith and we will overcome this weight problem.
I can do this!!!

Welcome to Spark People and South Carolina Losers.
There are many web sites out there that Charge that don't have a fraction of all the stuff that is on SP, and what is great, it is free.
I am on a weight loss journey as well and I need to lose about 140 pounds. I am sure others will be posting replies to your message here on SC Losers, and trust me when I say that the people on here are great, and they are all helping each other.
I will be praying for your progress as you journey with all of us.

I started sparkpeople about 2 weeks ago. I lost all the weight I wanted and needed to about 3 years ago. I don't know what happened but before I knew it I had gained it all back plus some. I tried other diets along the way because I could no longer afford the diet I was on when I lost all the weight. Nothing worked. I found Sparkpeople by chance and decided to give it a try. It couldn't hurt, could it, plus it was free and all the tools I was looking for.I feel I am doing pretty good. I still have days when I slip, but they are getting fewer. I have been able to cut back on the mindless eating. I use food for comfort and boredom, and I am slowly getting away from that. Some days are harder than others, today is one of those difficult days. To much on my mind, and wanting to find something to get my mind off my troubles. So far I haven't taken the plunge and have been able to hold off on the mindless snacking. I have tried to stick to my new resolve, to take one day at a time.
I can do this!!!
