Hello Everybody my name is Denise i am now 51 yrs young stay home wife and mother to 5 and grandmother to 3 . I am 5'3 129 pds and would like to tone up and lower my body fat . I have been a Sparky since 6/18/2007 and my weight has gone up and down through out that time . am looking to get to a weight that is great for my small bone type am build with most weight on my lower half . Also i workout 4 to 5 times a week 2 hrs a day mixing between cardio mixed with strengthtraining to sometimes just cardio mix combo meaning different cardio machines. I hope to learn more on BFFM and how it works and things i can use to get me to my goal with this group .
To be strong and focused in all i do . and never say never. Also i can do anything through Christ our Lord and Savior Amen Thank you JESUS!! I also tell myself i will control the weight the weight doesn't control me!!

I'm new to this team and to weight lifting, so just checking threads out. I'm in a learning phase so I have been doing research to get to the truth about weight lifting. I have learned some things I didn't know and still looking for more.
I have been doing Callanetics and walking 5 to 6 days a week. I eat as clean as I can but, I do eat eggs, fish and chicken. I have lost almost 40 lbs over the past 4 1/2 years and have 35 more to lose, but I want that 35 to be FAT. I want to build and repair what I can. I have a Bowflex so I have to start with that until I buy weights.
I'm looking forward to learning and sharing with y'all.

Hey all, Looking for some other followers of the BFFM program. I bought the book a couple of years ago and read most but never did much with it. To long a story but took a break from weight loss for a couple of years and now I am back to finish what I started. I like Tom's approach with meal planning and goal setting. I already follow a similar workout program. I have started really focusing on the nutrition this last week and so far down 3 lbs. I look forward to sharing with others following this program and see what you are doing.
