A great place to record your daily steps and see your progress (or in my case, some days lack of progress! LOL.) I find it a great motivator, hope you do too!
I went to the doctors last winter/spring and when I went to get weighed I was too heavy for the scale and couldn't get a reading. I knew that was it and I really had to start doing something. So I started walking in the house. Doing laps around the rooms and down the hall. I started with 5 minutes and every few weeks up the time on the timer. Since then I have lost 70 pounds and now walk twice a day. Usually for an hour in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon. Because of back and legs issues I'm not a fast walker but it's getting the job done. My son gave me an early Christmas gift my pedometer so I've been trying to get the 10K steps in.
