But to get extra steps in -
Walk the long way to the mailbox
March in place during commercials
Play the Wii games that make you move
Most of all, get a pedometer if you can. I can't go anywhere without it. I even sleep with it!! If I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night I WANT THOSE STEPS lol
Just keep moving through the day. It doesn't have to be a chunk of time. But once you have a pedometer try doing regular routine stuff and then think about how to increase your step count. The 200 more a day is a perfect way to start.
THEN you will say .. wow I think I can do 10 minutes or 15 minute walks...
You can do it!! Don't get overwhelmed, take it slow.
