Welcome. Setting goals and keeping the Streak going works well. When I started walking, I started with a goal to walk to a destination for "vacation." When I reached the destination, I would treat myself to something. I actually started walking across America because I wanted to visit my children who lived on the opposite coast. I wanted to "walk" to their home before I visited them. The visit was my reward. I actually did walk that distance in time to visit and was hooked. It is so much fun to be able to find my way to somewhere fun.

Hi I have been with sparks for a while mostly doing the on and off cycle but I have lost a total of 30 pounds and want to lose 30 more..I have been reading up in here but always shy to post but yesterday I am turning a new leaf starting fresh even change everything in my page..I want to commit to not dieting anymore but to live healthy .. I dusted out my pedometer and this morning as soon as i woke up I snapped it on.. my problem is when I get bored I stop doing stuff.. i hop this group will motivate me thru thick and thin...
