Thanks so much to all of you for making me feel so welcome! I'm going to beat this thing called "added baggage" no matter what. I have a sweet little "older" lady for a neighbor (she's in her 80's) who has worked hard all her life to stay slim and trim! She is such an inspiration to me! I want to look like her when I get in my 80's too!

I love seeing how many steps I get in a day! Today it was 7542 steps!!! All our bedrooms are upstairs so I get in a lot of extra steps running up and downstairs instead of just putting stuff on the bottom stair like I used to! Also helps the ole ticker, I'm told!

I also feel naked without mine! I put it on 1st thing in the morning without even thinking about it!
I only average about 9K a day but the important thing is that I am constantly striving to do better. My all time high is 24K.
Best of luck to you!

Great work. It is fun to keep track of how much you walk in a day. It really can become addictive to "get in" your steps each day. I love the concept. It has saved my life.

Way to go Mitsy, great job on getting started/comfortable with your new 'best friend' (I feel naked if I don't have mine on, how sad is that?), you'll do great!

Hi, I've been using a pedometer for 7 days now and I like it! Even though I haven't walked 10,000 steps in one day, I'm still striving for it!

I joined America On the Move on Jan 11, 2008 have recorded a total of 25,908 steps. I'm starting on the easiest trail, the China Silk Road Trail.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Mitsy
