Hi everyone!! I just moved to Ft Walton Beach about 2 months ago from Alaska!! It's been a big change!! I miss my friends and am hoping that I can meet some new people here to hang out with and motivate me!

Michelle...things are set up for the 123 Fit team. Start sending people...it's lonely being the only member! You have to go to geographic locations/USA/Florida/Other Florida teams. It wouldn't let me add Pensacola to the list of Florida cities. Maybe you could co-lead...help me with ideas for challenges and stuff.

Hey...when I went in today, Stacey did my measurements and stuff...so that's all done. I'll come by for my work-out a little later tomorrow, around 6:30 or so.

Yes, go for the new team. I haven't gotten any reply from the other 123 Fit team. I think it fizzled!

Michelle...did I get the body comp slip? I thought it was stapled to the papers that you kept. I only have the membership agreement and the questionaire copies. Looks like the 123 Fit team was not for any specific area. Click next to this post and go to my sparkpage, then scroll down to the teams I'm on and you'll see the 123 Fit logo; click on that and it will take you to the team. Or, just go to "search teams" and type in 123 Fit. It will come up.

Hi everyone! I am Michelle Parsons and happened to meet someone yesterday at the Family expo who told me about this awesome group! I currently am a member of 123 Fit on Brent lane AND the owner of the new location coming to Cantonment on hwy 29 in Nov.
Over the years I have done many different eating plans, and have had the most success with WW. I was also a leader for 2 years for a local TOPS (Take off pounds sensibly) club. I totally believe that buddies and group motiviation is an awesome tool to weight loss and achieving your fitness goals.
I am soo excited about this website! I have a weight goal to be at on my grand opening day...so today is the first day on the quest to reach my goal.

I haven't been getting outside either but i work full time, too. i do walk 3x week in the morning and was lucky enough to get the walk in monday. naps. i remember those. lol and yeah, bad timing on the pool but maybe they had to at that time. sometimes its all about scheduling and cash flow :-(

Lately it's been either extremely humid or just raining, so I've not been able to walk. I'm still getting workouts in during little ones naps, so that's good. We were all going to the pool but the geniuses who manage my apartment complex have decided that the middle of summer is the perfect time to destroy the pool and re-do it. Sigh...

My son is 7 months. Most days he cooperates and naps long enough for me to get in a good workout in the morning. I always thought I was a morning person, but my son has made me even more so. He just loves to wake up about 5:30-5:45. Sometimes I let him crawl around while I workout, but he's fascinated by my legs and likes to grab them. That's when I give him newspaper and he's occupied for about 20 or so minutes!

We try to walk either the PJC or UWF track. Sadly, it's been a while since we've been out there but I hope to get back soon.

Wow...I love all this interaction and communication. There are 2 Riviera's, one on Davis and one on Moblie Hwy. I go to the Mobile Hwy location...IF I go. I'm so in the groove of working out at home early in the am, I plan to keep that up. I know I need to vary what I do somewhat, though.

I don't belong to any club yet, Susie - you are not alone! Lunchtime is out for me. I'd either have to do morning or evening. morning is better for me. with a 15 year old, I have running around to do in the evening, until he gets his license and we can trust him with a car. So I guess I will take myself out of that mix, at least for now. I do like to walk as well - so maybe if you all get something together I can join now and again.

Totally understand. I'm really flexible as my kids don't need me in the morning and I don't have to be to work until 8:30. So whatever works. Or doesn't.

How old are the kids?

Welcome Princess! I like your attitude already! I've been here just a few weeks myself and already my energy level is way up. Apparently I'm the only one without a gym membership here. I do workout dvd's at home and try to get out an go for walks. The walking part is hard with the heat and a young baby. Looking forward to it cooling off eventually!

I live and work in east p'cola, along Scenic up by 10. the only curves i know if is on davis. Do you think you are a morning or evening work out person? Thanks for letting me join your group. I live in Cantonment but work downtown. I have a membership to curves free from work but I dont use it often. If anyone would like to have a exercise partner let me know. I look forward to having someone local to encourage and be encouraged. I know this is going to be hard but I need to do it. I have set small goals for myself. One of them is to get out of bed when the alarm goes off and not to have my husband drag me out of bed. I signed up yesterday to change my life, and today I got out of bed on the first alarm and even beat my husband to the shower! This is the first day of the rest of my healthy life......

I have a membership at Riviera, but I like to workout early in the morning before work, so I use a treadmill or elliptical at home. I like getting it over with.

I just realized I never introduced myself. I'm Susan and I joined this site on June 25. I've been exercising alot and eating very healthy. I'm even looking forward to exercising and I always hated it before. I've lost 5 ppounds so far and have gained a lot of energy. I look forward to learning more and losing more!!
