Hi Melissaannathea. My name is DJ. I am a mother of 3 and 51 years old. You are at the right place to get on track. I love spark people Site. The tools are wonderful. I had lost 35 pounds and then schedule changed and no time to exercise. So gained 27 back. I am ready to get it off again. My goal is 2 pounds per week. Very high expectations but so far I am using the tools and headed in the right direction. What are your goals and what is your plan toward it? SP has great articles on goal setting as well as other topics. Main thing is to really enjoy the process. Great food that is good for you and exercise that is fun. Good luck with 2013.

Hello to everyone. I'm new to SparkPeople and thought joining a team would be a great way to get started and just go for it. I am a 40 year old wife and mother of 3 who lives in Pensacola. I no longer fit into my 20 something jeans and am getting tired of making excuses why I can't go to the beach or a pool (when it's obviously a bathing suit issue). Two years ago I wore a 2 piece suit & used to run 4 times a week. Well, that has come & gone. I lost my motivation to take care of myself & put all efforts into my family. The kids are older now & I have run out of excuses. I am looking for support & am happy to give some back in return.
