I don't like the way Wal-mart pushes out small businesses or the way they treat their employees...so even though they have a better selection of green products I don't shop there. I have found great products at smaller locally owned businesses.

Although I generally prefer Target to Wal-mart, I have found that the Wal-mart in my area carries more green products (cleaners, light bulbs, etc) with cheaper prices. Target does have some organic foods though and I have not seen any at Wal-mart.

Target is the best chain store in my area. They have all kinds of products that I used to buy at my local health food store for a little cheaper. Walmart is not good at all for this in my area, and they've stopped carrying some of the green products they used to have.

I go to wal-mart (Target sometimes). Although the store itself is not eco friendly at all, one is able to make green choices in them...

I go to wal-mart for the best prices on light bulbs, brita water filters. Every store is trying to get more eco friendly, so you just have to look around. I don't know what you have for groceries but shoprite has allot of whole foods but Aldi's has better prices in NJ.

Thift shops are a good option along with yard sales. Some of the best furniture comes from what people put out to the trash especially after a yard sale.

Where do you think is the best "big chain" to do eco-shopping (the most eco-friendly products)? Keep in mind I live in the South so we have like Target, K-Mart, & Wal-Mart.
