Hi and welcome to SP and this 50+ group. I'm new to SP also, joined almost 2 weeks ago. There is a lot of info, recipes and exercise videos to help us on our weight loss journey. I haven't had any loss surgery. Just several attempted diets that haven't worked. But I'm very motivated by all the SarkPeople. In just a couple of days eating a healthier diet I felt my energy level go up and my mood was improved. I hate to exercise but know I need I do mostly chair exercises or I ride my 3 wheel bike. I do enjoy riding my bike and it keeps my bad knees limber. I hope the healthier diet help you feel better also. There is a large community of people here going through the same things we are. They are here for you and so am I! We will all go on this journey together, some will lose faster while others struggle for every pound. But we're all here supporting each other. I look forward to going on this journey with you.

I'm 4 years post gastric bypass and have regained most of my weight back so I'm going to have to do this the old fashioned way with some support from my fellow 50 plussers. Anyone else post weight loss surgery?
I'm hoping to lose half of myself in the next 18-24 months and will probably post here now and again to see how everyone is doing and to look for tips. I'm cautiously optimistic this time!
