That's the way to do it! I like having control over what my choices are. I feel like I am learning that I can have what I want but I am responsible for staying in my calorie limit. The biggest thing is to find what is comfortable and works for you. That way you are more likely to stick with it and get less frustrated. Keep up the good work! You're doing great!emoticon

There is a song on a show that my Grand Kids watch and I think it applies : "Keep trying, keep trying, don't give up, never give up" I intend to keep trying and I will never give up till I reach my goal!

Nothing happens overnight. Remember one pound lost is one pound closer to your goal.

Get up every morning, take a deep breath & make it the best day that you possibly can.

With you all in spirit everyday.....Gery

Thank you. I was thinking that I should start a more structured program to begin with, I could go from there. I am feeling a bit lost right now.

Hi Sandy and WELCOME!

I just read your blog for today and want to make a comment, if I may. STOP DIETING!!! Use all the tools here to live your life in the style you want. That takes the success/failure out of the equation. Make adjustments to your lifestyle one day, one choice, at a time until you are living the lifestyle you want, then continue to monitor/adjust one day, one choice, at a time. I have been up and down the dieting road forever and now choose never to diet again. There is too much joy in living to live in fear of failing.

This is a wonderful group of folks to share the journey with - every step of the way! We're all in the same boat, good days and not-so-good days. Don't be afraid to ask for the support you need. All the best on your decisions... Oh, and please, allow us to celebrate your achievements with you!
