lucky for me that candy does not call my name, like salty items. Lay out the potato chips, peanuts ect and I would get the shakes. I would bring a couple of pieces of fresh fruits and lay that on my desk. I could look and smell the fruit and it could take my mind off of the candy.

I work one day a week for my former employer - on a contract basis. There is an ever present candy bowl here. So far today I have avoided taking anything from it. I'm patting myself on the back and making a public declaration to assist me in getting through the next 3 hours!
