You seem to be asking how to start, First for get diets, if they worked for you, you would not be here :)
You are looking at a life style change, First thing TRACK EVERYTHING YOU EAT, please note I did not say eat anything different
and in order to track you must measure, as I can get two and a half cups of potatoes on a one cup measuring cup I weight my food.
As the day goes on notice your totals, if you are overdoing fat or carbs think about how to adjust
at the end of the day look at the report, one of the pie charts break down each food, You will make discoveries, Maybe there are foods you should change. When you make a discovery share it with the group
NOTE this weight did not happen in 5 weeks, It will not unhappen in 5 weeks either - at a pound a week it will take a year, half a pound will take two. Start by eating a lot more fruit and Vegetables, as many different ones as you can find. Start doing some exercise, I like walking - if you can't do much do what you can without hurting after a few months you will be able to go on walks you can only imagine
15 days after you start eating better you will be feeling better. as the weight come off and you bring your body into shape you will start feeling 35 again

Hello I am 58 and weight in at 185 lbs. I started on the 14th looking for a smart and healthy way to lose 50lb. I have not been successful in the past with diets but I am not giving up.
