I'm so delighted to read that you want to get off the roller coaster ride of diets. SparkPeople is not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. Once I got that into my head and understood, things just fell into place, by the grace of God.
I suggest the first thing you do, is to track, track, and track some more. Everything that goes into your mouth, including liquids. I was agast when I realized what I was stuffing into my mouth and forcing down my throat. Use the nutrition and the fitness tracker. If you're not use to exercise, just start with a 10 minute video. There are loads to chose from, and they're all fun! I didn't start doing them, until I had been here for about a month, because I was recuperating from a car accident. But now, I do them and I've even started doing some low impact aerobics, and Tai Chi. I love it! If you need any help, just HOLLER and somebody will be here to give you a hand up. Who knows, it might even be me!!!
