Yes, you are off to a good start. emoticon If you get tired of your DVD you can check out the fitness page. There are lots of sit down exercises there and many others can be adapted for seated exercises. I have feet and knee issues also and find I can do a lot more than I thought I could. emoticon

Well...I'm off to a good start!..sat here this morning and actually planned all my meals and snacks for the entire week WITH their calorie counts. emoticon
AND right after I finish this note, I'm going to start my "sit on your butt and exercise DVD"
I think with all the support here I'll be able to stay on track!..No..I take that back..I WILL be able to stay on track!.... emoticon

Hi Everyone...just signed up (actually JUST signed up about 5 minutes ago!!) Can't wait to get started. I've had foot surgery, so water aerobics and walking are out of the question!...BUT I did just order (and receive) a DVD for siting exercises using light weights. emoticon ..I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you and any suggestions or ideas about how you are making changes to make it through your weight loss journey!...(cause I'm gonna need lots of help!! emoticon

my sister lost 105 lbs age 63 walking 15000 steps a day

i lost 44 pounds at age 61 by giving up grain and sugar products.

neither one of us has had a relapse in over a year
