Brenda, Congratulations !! \¥¥//¥¥¡¡ Those are big decisions. Pretty life-changing. I've been thinking if I lost 30-35 lbs. I would definitely have more energy and what would I do with it? You get the bonus of having money in your pocket.

I am also shy - and decided that when I re-joined in 2012 September I was going to get out of SparkPeople what I put into it. And for me that meant coming out of my comfort zone participating in my SparkTeams and encouraging other people - even if it's simply welcoming them to the Team.
I am committed to my lifestyle change. I eat healthy, not diet. All nutrition in moderation, not deprivation. I work equally hard at syncing up my head and my body so I can become the healthiest I can be.

Welcome. Stopped smoking and maintaining is superb. Now to bite the bullet. Plan your WHOLE day and include something before your exercise calories for the evening munchies. I eat early breakfast. Midday main meal. Snack tea before I leave the office and have 2 pieces of hard candy when I get off the train. That sorts pout my sweet need.
Hi, I joined on Jan.18th but was shy to communicate. I need to lose 35-40 pounds and I quit smoking 2 weeks ago. I'm having trouble staying with the diet, get the munches after supper but doing a lot of exercise so have stayed at the same weight. Think I need to reach out and get committed here.
