message boards are a great way to share tips

Thank you for all the welcome posts! There's so much info here, I'm beginning to get somewhat overwhelmed. I've been on other message boards before and find that I can sit for quite a long time reading and posting, which is fine, but then I'm just sitting at the laptop, which defeats the purpose of why I'm here!!!! Kind of a Catch 22, wouldn't you say? So, if I don't reply on a regular basis, it's only because I have to pace myself. Question, what's the best place for motivation...message boards or team pages? Is there a difference? Also, how do I know when I have a new message? Sorry to sound dense...
Thanks in advance, Jeryl

I must lose some rear so I can continue to get out of the car once I park it in the garage. The need is greater now than in the last round. The car, the same make, newer model is longer with wider wing mirrors and the garage was always tight before. sites.google.com/site/sassyshamrocks heriffs/home

I welcome the new members too. Has anyone else besides me, noticed a lot of, uh, well, shall we say, uh, well, flatulence..............since you started trying to eat right? In trying to get more fruits & veggies in (I was very neglectful of them before), I've acquired a certain "aura"...... :) My body isn't used to processing all that good stuff. I wonder how long I can expect this..........before my body gets used to it and calms down.........anyone know? Loondyli

Hi there JVASS321, and welcome to the 50+ SparkTeam!
Don't wait until you've reached your goal to be proud of yourself. Be proud of every step you take toward reaching that goal.
A few "bad" days can't ruin your plan... only giving up can do that. Just keep going and you will get there.

Hi, just joined tonight and looking forward to absorbing all the info and motivation on this site. I'm 54, almost 55, and have 20 to 25 lbs. to lose. My goal is to be back to my ideal weight and healthy lifestyle by the time my youngest son gets married in October. Motivation is my biggest hurdle right now, so I'm hoping that joining the message boards and posting here will help. Good luck to all of us!
