Hello Teammates! I've read some of the new introductions and am so inspired. It is exciting to hear of all of our goals and our determination.
I am soon to be 52 and have put on just about 30 lbs since getting married just 5 1/2 years ago. I don't feel healthy (I'm not), increasing blood pressure and cholestral, I don't feel attractive, I don't like what is happening to me.
I woke up New Years Day and said THIS IS IT! I searched for websites that offered exactly what SparkPeople has here. I was setup with the suggested goal of 29 pounds to lose. I have been determined and diligent these last 5 days. I've been sharing the news of my goal with people which I haven't always done in past attempts to lose weight.
I think other people are excited for me too and they help remind me of my goal when my strengh is weak sometimes.
I look forward to learning more about the site, getting support from similar souls and continuing the march toward my goal!
Good luck to us all!
