Welcome!,,,,,A friend of mine swears by that wheat belly book,,,,,,she lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks by just omitting wheat and hidden wheat products!,,,,,Im going to get the book tomorrow and read up on it,,,,has something to do with how they changed the make up of wheat,,,,,,,keep you posted! emoticon

turn off the house phone during sleep hours

it is never to late to start.

my sister lost 105 pounds at age 63 walking 15000 steps a day.

i have lost 44 pounds by giving up grain and sugar products at age 60..

i walk 15000 steps a day.

i use a salad plate as my dinner plate.

i keep mandrtan oranges in the fridge. when the sweet tooth comes on i grab one or two tablespoons of the fruit.

Welcome.
I am glad I do not have the night shift problem though I still out of sync with the world as I have a 430 am rise on 4 workdays. Even that knocks my eat/sleep pattern out somewhat and yes enough sleep makes a difference to how I binge/ eat things I shouldn't and lose track of my calories.

I am excited that SPARKS has a team with members over the age of 50 who can encourage each other. When you become older it is much harder to lose weight, especially BELLY FAT.
I have no problem working out but I need assistance when it comes to properly eating the right type of foods. I work nights and sleep days so my body is out of wack. I have read so many medical reports that SLEEP is essential to losing weight. If anyone else works nights, please let me know what works for you. Any suggestions is helpful. Thanks.
