it is never to late to start.

my sister lost 105 pounds at age 63 walking 15000 steps a day.

i have lost 44 pounds by giving up grain and sugar products at age 60..

i walk 15000 steps a day.

i use a salad plate as my dinner plate.

i keep mandrtan oranges in the fridge. when the sweet tooth comes on i grab one or two tablespoons of the fruit.

So true.... Exercise was not a way of life growing up except at recess.

Thanks for the advice. 10 minute starters sounds just right.

Hello there FierceandFit. Welcome to the Team!

Don't wait until you've reached your goal to be proud of yourself. Be proud of every step you take toward reaching that goal.

A few "bad" days can't ruin your plan... only giving up can do that. Just keep going and you will get there.

Welcome
You can do it.
Try joining the 10 minute exercise challenge for starters and go from their.
Exercise was always spellt exorcise for me.
We come from that age when exercise meant running round school playing fields in a t-shirt and navy knickers in the bleak midwinter. Kind of colours your attitude doesn't it?

Good luck

This 2013 I want to be a better, healthier me! I've struggled with my weight for nearly a decade. Since I was a thinner woman until after the mid-life births of my children, I don't have a history of being athletic or active. I could always "eat what I wanted" and not gain weight. Not th healthiest approach to food and exercise, but it's what I lived through my mid-thirties. Soooooo, here I am, accessing the support and tools of this friendly site. Planning that this year of my big 55 will make me a healthier, hotter senior for years to come.
