Hi and welcome to the team. With such a busy schedule I would recommend getting in a little exercise at the beginning of the day even if only 10 minutes. The 10 minute walk at lunch is a good idea and I would suggest doing a set of some exercise each time you use the bathroom (hip flexors, calf raises, wall push-ups are quick and easy exercises to fit in). Exercise need not be 30 to 60 minutes straight. It is just as effective when broken into small increments.
Welcome Yes it is hard and you need time to sleep. I can feel for you as I hold down a full time job (35hr) with a 3 hour daily commute, while sharing my home and large garden with my 82 yr old parents and keeping all the bits they are no longer able to do in order. Time to........ What's that? You could try a 10 minute walk at lunch time for a start. Even that will drop out of the equation some days.
Good morning, I'm 58 & have been on Atkins since June 2012. I have lost 20 lbs. I'm ready to add some exercise into my program. I am going through some health issues based on my hormones. I'm seeing a new Doctor & hoping & praying it will work. I need encouragment in the exercise bc I am so very busy in my personal & business life finding the energy & time are a challenge for me. I work long days 7 am to 7 pm & do not have the energy to do much after my long day. I have a husband, house, 3 kids (grown), 8 grandkids, charitable activities & 1.5 jobs. HELP! Any encouraging advise is welcome.
