DH is on a gluton free diet. We found a bread in the frozen food department of the health food section in several grocery stores and Whole Foods. It is a heavy bread, the plain rice bread has no taste. I like the almond rice bread.

Sorry to hear of your gluten intolerance but on the bright side - you'll start feeling better quite quickly when you omit gluten from your diet. There is a lot of paleo/primal websites out there. In a nut shell, it's no grains but everyone follows their own path to health so you'll see dozens of variations on this lifestyle. Best of all, you'll find a lot of great recipes for replacement foods. There are a couple of teams here that have links to many of the sites.

Just discovered I need to be on a gluten free diet and I'm looking forward to the challenge. Bread is going to be my biggest test. I love tuna melt sandwiches. Anyone else going through the same problem? Maybe, at long last, when I cut out gluten based foods I'll start to lose weight. It's probably been my problem for years and just didn't recognize it. I do love pastries! ;-)
