What a loaded question
You mean now or the first time. I have been on and off Spark - and under different names - since at least 2006. The problem was never with Spark - this is absolutely the best weight loss program you will find - I'm convinced of that and I've tried 'em all
The problem in the past was me. I wasn't really serious about losing the weight even though I thought I was
I came back in May of this year with a new outlook and a much improved attitude. I've finally stopped blaming everything from pregnancies to genes to the dog for my excess 30 lbs. My youngest son is 30 - how long can a person blame pregnancy for their extra weight
What I've learned is that the trick is to give your body time to adjust to your new relationship with food. I don't crave all the junk I used to crave because my taste buds are actually changing for the better. I've also finally come to terms with the fact that I can't eat huge portions of starchy carbohydrates and lose weight - I am carb sensitive - but I've learned that you also should not completely cut ANYTHING out of your diet. It is unhealthy and unrealistic to do so. Balance is the key and eating the correct portions. For me, this is working. I've lost 13 lbs., my clothing is baggy
, and I'm not frustrated and hungry all the time like I was in the past when I stayed in my calorie range but used all those calories on empty junk foods that didn't satisfy in the long haul.
So, although my answer is kind of long-winded, I wanted to paint a real picture. It's not how long you've been on Spark but, rather, are you really serious about reaching your goals
I wasn't in the past and I am now and it has made all the difference.
