Hi, Di and welcome My best advice may not be much but it's from the heart and it works for me: 1) Use your nutrition tracker faithfully, every single day, and run the daily report spreadsheet you access from that page. This will keep you honest with yourself and accountable for YOUR choices ; 2) Find a few exercises/activities you actually ENJOY doing and then do them 3-4X a week. If you like what you're doing your chances of sticking with it greatly improve / 3) Stay active with your Spark Team(s) because they will be a great sources of motivation, encouragement, and support as you work towards your goals and; 4) Have fun - even a few laughs - with this! If you make this a happy place instead of some dreaded mission impossible you "are forced to do", you will greet each day with a new enthusiasm
On final thought: don't worry about how fast or slow you lose the pounds! That will do nothing but sabotage your efforts This is one area where the old cliche "slow and steady wins the race" holds true! It doesn't matter if it comes off "slow" what matters is that it comes off
Looking forward to sharing experiences, cheers, and This team is very caring and supportive - glad you joined!
The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6 TLSB
and Di. Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome Diana, I am so glad that you decide to give yourself a chance to bring out the real you. Here in spark people you will learn how to beginning your journey. First tracking what you eat and exercise will give you an idea of were you are. There i have learned what to eat and not eat. Because of my age and pain there are certain exercise i can not do, but I can not give up so can choose what is best for me. Then reading from healthy lifestyle will keep you both motivate and inform. So just view this time not as another diet but a way of life. A time for you to shine.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me
