my sister walks 15,000 steps a day at 63 years old and has lost 105 pounds. she went from a size 24 to a size 10. all her health issues dropped off as the 105 pounds dropped off.

i gave up grain and sugary products and have lost 44 pounds at age 60. i went from a size 18 to a size 10 shorts and medium tops from a 1 or 2x.

we are both still loosing weight until we reach our goal

Hi and welcome to the team! emoticon I will offer you my best advice to be successful and reach your own individual goals: 1) Use your nutrition tracker faithfully, every single day and for every single meal. It will keep you honest and accountable for your choices of food and the amounts you eat; 2) Find a few exercises/activities you actually enjoy doing and then do them 3-4X a week. If you enjoy the activity you will stick with it, plain and simple.; 3) Stay active with your Spark Team(s). That is where you will get your encouragement, support, and motivation along the way; and, 4) try to have fun and enjoy this journey! If you make this your friend, you will hang in there and emoticon until you reach your destination emoticon

Don't worry about how fast or slow you lose either. This is one area where that old cliche "slow and steady winds the race" really applies emoticon This isn't a diet. This is a lifestyle change.
