emoticon Hi and emoticon . Carol is right....take it slow and easy. It took us years to get ourselves into this situation and we need time to undo the damage we have done. Slow weight loss is best for our bodies and is also easier to maintain. emoticon

Hi and welcome! emoticon We are all in the same boat on this journey so don't feel like you are alone or the only one who is "scared" that they won't make it. No, emoticon

Here's my best advice - it's not much, but it's all I have to offer: 1) Use your nutrition tracker faithfully, every single day and for every single meal. It will keep you honest and accountable for your choices of food and the amounts you eat; 2) Find a few exercises/activities you actually enjoy doing and then do them 3-4X a week. If you enjoy the activity you will stick with it: 3) Stay active with your Spark Team(s). That is where you will get your encouragement, support, and motivation along the way; and, 4) try to have fun with this! If you make this your friend, you will hang in there and emoticon until you reach your destination emoticon

One more thought: don't worry about how fast or slow you lose the weight. This is one area where the old cliche "slow and steady wins the race" really does apply. We are learning to develop a new relationship with food and re-educate ourselves regarding how to make healthy choices and eat the correct portions emoticon This process takes time but in the end, it is well worth the investment made.

I find it scary to approach weight lost again. So many efforts over the years but I was always successful until the last 15. It has been a real downhill slide of the climbing scale numbers. I confess I am intimidated.
