I have been working out for years - still run 3.5-4.5 miles 3x a week, do pilates, weights and aerobic workouts. I just completed my first 5K, headed for my second this weekend, but I am slow! I am on synthroid for my thyroid, and zetia, cholesterol meds. Last year I weighed 10 lbs less drinking much water. Never go past that and I am 35-40 lbs overweight. Just joined a gym and changing my workout. Trying to get motivated that at 56 years old I can change my weight and energy level.
