I'm a "golden girl" about to embark on a fitness and weight loss journey. Most of my life I have been thin and very active. In the last several years I have fallen apart. Many personal issues that have caused lots of stress (and still do), have left me less than enthusiastic about my physical well being. But in recent years I have added 20lbs to my short frame and exercise has become getting off the couch to answer the phone. Time to turn this around. I'm going to try to loose this excess weight and begin a power walking regiment that will hopefully lead to running. Wish me luck.
