Hello Everyone,

My name is Linda and I am a new member here on SP from the Houston, Texas area. I just found and signed up with SP on Monday because I desperately need to get my life back on track.

I tend to have a really, really self image, bad body image, confidence image, etc., and have slunk into the hermitous (is that a word?) background of this thing we call life over the past year. I have limited physical abilities due to back issues and am not able to do what I need to get to a healthy goal. Through therapy by working out and a change in diet/nutrition, I am hoping to recover my body to a point where pain is tolerable w/o medications and weight and health are not debilitating factors.

I really need to have encouragement, accountability, and to see that something is actually working, so I intend to be active on this site, as well as with my health goals, on a daily basis. I am trying to catch up with all of the activities on the site - there is A LOT to see - and do things right from now on. For now, I just want to get started and hold myself accountable as I REALLY, REALLY, DESPERATELY, try to get my life back, physically, nutritionally, and emotionally.

I think that "ONE DAY AT A TIME" is going to be, no, in my case, HAS to be my personal DAILY motto and goal from now on. Please feel free to “Friend” me, I need all the friends, and help I can get!!! Also, if you are from the Houston area, let me know. I posted my first and second Blogs so take a look for more information about me, and don’t forget to say “Hi”!!!
