Just remember: Calorie counting is king in the weight loss game!! My formula is present weight times 10 plus 30% of present weight times 10 equals maintenance calorie count for that weight. Minus 500 a day for seven days equals one pound lost. Best to eat between 1200 to 1550, and try to find out how many calories you burn playing tennis and factor in a calorie deficit that way. Also, never deny yourself; just try to find lower calorie alternatives for the craving.
Hi SPers. I'm back after trying some ridiculous other eating plans and gaining weight on them. I've been fighting my weight as long as I can remember. I'm 65 [a young 65] I play tennis lots and lots, I'm 5/3" and have about 10 pounds to lose. It's like it is stuck on there no matter what I do. This time I am trying major portion control and more careful tracking.
