I've been a Sparker for awhile. I did really well in my first year. I had a really motivational Sparks friend. I'm ashamed to say I can't even remember her name. She prodded me on .She passed away and after that I seemed to drift away from the group. Life seems to take us in directions we really don't mean to go and we lose focus sometimes.
I know I can do this, I am a stubborn sort!! I need to lose at least 10 pounds but 15 would be ideal. I have lost it over and over again and each time I say it will never come back! I know the lifestyle change has to be permanent but can't seem to make it that way!
My mom is a very large woman and I can see myself headed in that direction. I love her to pieces but I can see how being obese has affected her life. She has to choose restaurants with chairs wide enough and strong enough to hold her. She makes a fuss because family members don't have furniture that she finds comfortable.She can't find clothes big enough in stores and depends on a sister to make them. Her knees are starting to give out is a struggle that I don't want.

Anyway I am here to try and keep my weight under control with the help of some like- minded near seniors! I started a week ago and so far have dropped 3 pounds..I've increased my activity and cut down my food intake..tracking far so good..but this is just the beginning!

I own one horse ,. She's also getting close to senior status! I love to ride but wish there was someone close to ride with! I love snowshoeing but also have to go alone and I'm a bit afraid of the wild critters. When I'm working I am a Christmas tree farm laborer , it is seasonal..March till December.

If anyone wants to be a butt kicker ..feel free to swing your toe my way! I'll try to help you losers too!!! Have a great day, so glad I found this group.
