What I know is that the conversation we have in our head with ourselves has a lot of influence on what we do. I'm hearing you be very self critical, which actually increases anxiety and hence, the attraction to what is bad for us. (In this case it's fat food).
When I catch myself doing the same thing, I lighten up and start sweet talking to myself instead. If I was a little girl I'd coo and say encouraging, loving things to me. That will make you feel more secure and calmer inside.
It really doesn't matter if you weight exactly the same for both weddings unless you're wearing the same dress and it wouldn't fit. Give yourself some love here, and let the sweetness of your attitude gently replace the craving for the physical sweets.
