NANAGO,
What you shared with Amy is just what I need to hear. I'm not new but I've lost my way. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Amy, emoticon I am almost sixty and when I started this in April I was a little skeptical that I could even lose weight. I wanted to lose the 17 pounds that would put me back at 150. I decided to really work on the portion control and tracking and just see what happens. While the weather held out I went walking most days and started to see things slowly working. At first I was pleased, then surprised and eventually amazed! When I hit 149 I decided I better adjust my goal to a weight I never thought I would see again...140...and now even that is beginning to feel possible. Welcome to SparkPeople...you will love it!! emoticon emoticon

A 16 minute mile qualifies! I am an 18 minute mile runner. I just run because I love it and just enjoy taking in the scenery.

Hi, I am Amy and I want to lose between 25 and 35 pounds. Since I am now *over 50* things are going a little more slowly than when I have watched my weight before. I enjoy running (if 16 minute miles qualify as running :)) and tracking my food with this tool really keeps me accountable.
