My personal blog
Sorry to hear you are having such severe physical challenges. Welcome to our team.
Often in hospitals we are put on meds that blow us up so check carefully on the side effects of all your medicines to see if that's a contributor. Since you can't burn any calories, you need to eat a vegan like diet. I don't mean that you can't eat anything you want, but I do know that steamed veggies and salads without real dressings (but okay on balsamic vinegar or lemon) will keep your caloric intake very low.
Here's to your healing it all!
With grace and self esteem, honor the Passionate Tiger in You. Refresh your personal high regard (daily) in order to live happy, joyous and free.
Sure hope this recuperation goes smoothly and you can resume slow and gentle exercise soon. Maybe, for now, put your focus on eating healing and nutritious food that will aid in your healing..Good luck.
Hi everyone I don't know where to begin except I need help. A year ago I had a total knee replacement with complications of not healing properly. Thru various Drs. they concluded it was a pinched nerve in my back. So 16 days ago I had back surgery. So far the leg is still shaking.( I know give it time).
Meanwhile I gained 20# from the knee surgery and another 20# overnight in the hospital. How can that happen?
I need to get my eating habit under control. At least that will help till I can excercise more than walking 15 min at a time. Help and give me some suggestions. I am replying to indygirl blog as she has overcome a lot.
Thanks Spark People
