Welcome, Cyndy. While you are letting your leg heal, you can do upper body exercises with either a resistance band or hand weights. There's always something we can do. Meanwhile, enjoy your new concentration on what you eat. Calories and portions are the most important factor.

I am newly retired and thought I would have lots of time to concentrate on loosing a few pounds (wrong), I'm busier than ever. I did, however find time to go to the YMCA a couple of times a week until my leg begin to give me some trouble so I haven't been in a month. Since I can't do the exercises right now I guess I should be thinking about what I'm putting in my mouth. I enjoy reading the encouragements. Thanks, Cyndy
