50. When you were younger what did you want to be when you grew up? Did you become what you wanted?

Depends when you asked. Really young I wanted to be a cow with big, pretty eyes. I'm sure there are those who believe I was successful. Ballerina... yup, for a while... really my goal is to become "Queen of Everything I Find Interesting Enough To Involve Myself In"... I'm still working on it.

51. What is your favorite food? Are you able to work it into your “diet plan”?

So many favourites!! Anything is possible with portion control!

52. What is the most important thing you have learned from Spark?

To never give up, no never give up!

53. What is one thing you would like to see Spark offer?

Easier access to areas.

50. When you were younger what did you want to be when you grew up? Did you become what you wanted?
I wanted to be a fireman (but so did every 8 y/o boy)
As a teen, I wanted to be a pastor, and thank God, that's what I am today

51. What is your favorite food? Are you able to work it into your “diet plan”?
Buffalo Wings are my favorite food. I have replaced it by broiling a chicken breast marinated in Chipotle Tobasco.
I even make my own blue cheese dressing with yogurt, spices, and a tablespoon of blue cheese (1/4 cup has about 75 calories).

52. What is the most important thing you have learned from Spark?
i dunno

50. When you were younger what did you want to be when you grew up? Doctor.
Did you become what you wanted? No, I changed my mind when I was 17. I made the right choice in the end.

51. What is your favorite food? Are you able to work it into your “diet plan”?
Chocolate. And if there was no way to work it into my diet plan, there's very little chance I would stick with it. So yes, there's room for chocolate in my life.

52. What is the most important thing you have learned from Spark?
I'm not alone.

53. What is one thing you would like to see Spark offer?

50. When you were younger what did you want to be when you grew up? Did you become what you wanted?

I wanted to be a mother, and yes, I'm mama to a beautiful, almost-six-year-old little girl.

51. What is your favorite food? Are you able to work it into your “diet plan”?

I honestly don't think I have a favourite food. I've actually reached a point where I don't even like food all that much, and only eat it because a) I have to or b) it's in front of me.

52. What is the most important thing you have learned from Spark?

I don't know yet; I just joined last night. ;)

53. What is one thing you would like to see Spark offer?

I don't know that this is necessarily something I'd like to see offered, but I would like for it to be a *little* bit easier to find stuff for new folks. I spent half an hour this morning looking for a "journal entry" I wrote last night - I thought I'd written it as a blog entry, and am still a little confused on the difference.

The midnight earth sends incense up, sweet with the breath of prayer. Go out beneath that naked night and get religion there.

52. What is the most important thing you have learned from Spark?
Seeing how many calories I eat in a day is a true eye-opener and is making me more aware of where I need to improve!

50. When you were younger what did you want to be when you grew up? Did you become what you wanted?
A writer. I do write, I just don't get paid for it yet. I do help my boss write policy materials for work and continuing education curriculum, but that is mostly typing, formatting and editing (fun stuff).

51. What is your favorite food? Are you able to work it into your “diet plan”?
Steak. And yeah, I can have it from time to time, just a smaller portion and make sure it lands in my calorie range for the day.

52. What is the most important thing you have learned from Spark?
I am not alone! Also I LOVE the "trackers" learning what the calories and nutrition of my favorite foods are has been a GREAT tool for me!

53. What is one thing you would like to see Spark offer?
More restaurant listings on the food search for the trackers and more variety on the cardio exercise choices on the fitness tracker, as well as a way to calculate for your specific weight. At 300 you burn more than someone at 150 - doing the same exercise for the same amount of time.

50. When you were younger what did you want to be when you grew up? Did you become what you wanted?

A ballerina, then a children's book writer, then a soap opera villainess--I got a degree in creative writing (no job future!!) and am now an editor for a medical journal

51. What is your favorite food? Are you able to work it into your “diet plan”?

Mexican food! My coworkers and I still go about three times a month to our favorite restaurant, but I've found a really satisfying chicken and black bean burrito that's lower in calories and I bring my own baked tostitos so I can have chips and salsa like everyone else. Finding something low cal on the menu that actually tastes good is key.

52. What is the most important thing you have learned from Spark?

Last night it hit me that weight loss hasn't been pure torture since I joined Spark People. The loss may be slower than I'd like, but it's steady and healthy (this is the first time that's really clicked in my head). On most of my previous weight loss attempts, I've been pretty alone. I'd either do it all by myself and quit after a week or I'd diet with people who had maybe 20 lb at most to lose. They could NEVER understand what it was like for me. Having the support of people on this site with similar amounts of weight to lose has been incredibly helpful.

53. What is one thing you would like to see Spark offer?

I agree that more eating disorder–related info would be helpful

50. When you were younger what did you want to be when you grew up? Did you become what you wanted?

A Hollywood superstar, and errrr .... no.

51. What is your favorite food? Are you able to work it into your “diet plan”?

Cheesecake, and errrr .... no. :-) Seriously, I went to the Cheesecake Factory a few weeks ago, and yes, I ordered cheesecake. I was actually really proud of myself for enjoying a few bites and then putting down thge fork. But no, it's not a regular part of my diet.

52. What is the most important thing you have learned from Spark?

That I'm not alone. I don't really know too many people in my situation, and I don't have anyone in my regular (versus cyber) life to talk to about these sorts of things.

53. What is one thing you would like to see Spark offer?

More information about the psychology of eating disorders as well as current research into obesity. But those are minor points because there ar eother sources of info out there.
