I am very sorry for your loss.

Welcome! There are tons of great people here in Spark who are ready/willing to give you support. The site is a bit overwhelming at first, but it does get better.....

Welcome and my condolences on the loss of your sister and mom.
This site does have a lot and it can get overwhelming. You should find a getting started guide on the front page that gives you an overview of the site.

Good luck and check in often!

Hi there and welcome :). Weightloss can be very overwhelming, but the people here are great because we're all going through the same thing. Remember to take each day one day, one minute at a time. You can do this. Believe in yourself and know you're not alone in your journey.

Hang in there everyday is one step at a time. Don't get angry or frustrated with it. If you can make sure you can get into a Doctor to help with any medical reasons contributing to the weight. I got up to 394 pound before I realized I had thyroid problems and diabetes. It is good to have support at home but remember to focus on you too. I know how it is to be a mom.

I am very new at this sort of thing, so please bear with me. I just began using this sight for the first time and am a little overwhelmed, but at the same time, I am very hopeful. I think this is just what I need right now. I lost my mom four years ago and have just lost my sister. I am the only girl left in my family. My new weight loss team is my fiance and my son. No offense to them, but their easy success has me a little jealous. I want to hear from some people who are more like me, and who can understand where I am coming from. So here's to my fresh start!
