The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success.
thank u so much for ur reply :) i know i've got to take it a day at a time but it could sometimes be frustrating... but the good news is i just had my first weekly weigh in and lost 5.5 kgs enjoy jazzercise and
When I think about all the weight I need to lose and all the lifestyle changes that I need to make to get there, I tend to get very overwhelmed and discouraged. So what I do instead is just focus on today: Today's Jazzercise class, Today's meal plan, Today's challenges to being healthy and what I need to do to overcome them.
I realize that you do have to make future plans: If I'm going to the grocery store I plan out different healthy snacks/meals for the immediate future or if I have an event coming up I make sure I have something nice to wear that fits right.
I've found that when I do that it makes it easier to string together healthy days without even realizing it.
So I'll just with you Good Luck and keep up the good work!
i love being part of SP (i recently joined-only yesterday) and spent my whole day on here (it's my day off of exercise as i started a healthy meal plan and exercise schedule a week a go!
i've struggled all of my life with my weight. i've managed to lose up to 40 kgs on my own once (less than 2 year ago and now shot up to 111.1 kgs so u can imagine my frustration and there's no one to blame but myself! i'm 35 and come from a family with a history of heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes to name a few.. i woke up the other morning and knew i had to do something. i committed myself and started planning out my "old" healthy menus and got my dvd workouts out and made a workout schedule... today's my 7th day on my new healthy lifestyle and tomorrow is my first weekly weigh-in and i'm really hoping to c a smaller number
i just wanna know what keeps u all motivated when u know u've got such a long journey ahead?
