Hi, my name is Angie... this is my first "teampage post" so I hope i am doing it correctly. I have about 110 lbs to lose to get to my goal weight. Weight is important and important goal, but my plan is to focus on the journey as much as possible rather than the end goal. If I get too focused only on my end goal weight, I think the little setbacks along the route will be harder to push through than if I focus on the little accomplishments I've made. For example, I realized just tonight that I've been eating much healthier already, in two weeks (I officially started eating healthy on 12 August) than I have in a very long time. More fruits and veggies today, for example, than in the entire first two weeks of August. And it's not because I'm in the "dieting" mindset, but because I'm in the eat-foods-that-are-healthy-AND-that-I-like -mindset. So... here's to focusing on the small steps. (and to hoping I posted this correctly!!).
