Hello! My name is Becky. I have a total of 183 to 193 pounds to lose (to get to between 140 and 150...I am 5'5"). It is hard but due to health issues it makes this more than I want to lose to I NEED to lose. I had a big scare a couple of months ago...thought I was having a heart attack...and realized that although I was serious about losing there was much more room for being serious! Thing is...I have to do this not just for myself but for my 19 year old daughter who has cerebral palsy. I am her main caregiver and it scared me so to even think of what what happen if I couldn't be here for her. It's going slow but it's going and I am getting into better and heathier habits. I really have to work on getting in more activity though...getting better but definately room for improvement! We can do this!! I have seen MANY success stories and know that it will be me AND it will be you too!

Becky

God is my strength!

Hello and welcome to the team, you can do it just take it slow and steady you will succeed.

*** Sharleen *** Motivational captain 30 something challenge

The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success.

Hi, Cheriann!

I'm glad you're on SP and I hope you find all the support you need here.

I am also a mom (two girls ages 2 and 4) and while my girls are healthy, I still want and need to lose weight and be healthy for them so that I have the energy, endurance and longevity to keep up and help them whenever they need mommy.

I am also diabetic and while I have had some success (have lost about 60 pounds so far), I still have at least another 50 to go before I'm satisfied. Ultimate goal puts me down a total of 70 from where I am now.

So email me, say hi, let me know how you're doing! I'd love a new SP pal to chat with and get motivated together!

=) lisa

Hello I'm Cheriann and I am 36 years old married with a 3 years son who has cerebral palsy. Life is hectic to say the least. I want to try this site out but I need support. I have well over 100 pounds to lose. More importantly Im a diabetic, and have high blood pressure. My son needs me more then a typical child. I have to lift him and care for him and be healthy to do so. Im an emotional eater! Please help me get started on this long journey!! Love making new friends :-)
